Eminem just unleashed “Houdini,” the first single from a highly anticipated project: “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).” This follows a classic Em prank – remember the fake album announcement on April Fools’? Now, fans are chomping at the bit for a release date.
While details are scarce, Em’s hinted at a “Summer 2024” release window, meaning the album could drop any time between now and September. To fuel the fire, a limited-edition digital pre-order with a bonus track is available for a week only on Eminem’s website.
But is this a summer scorcher or Shady’s final curtain call? This isn’t the only Eminem news: he’s also producing a documentary about his famously devoted fanbase (think more “Stan the Superfan” than general stan culture). Plus, he surprised fans with another new track, “Doomsday 2,” featured on the Lyrical Lemonade album with a star-studded video featuring Big Sean, Cordae, and more.
